London

I got back late on Sunday from the London excursion, with a brain absolutely buzzing from three days of sensory overload. I suspect that was just from the tube journeys I had to make (The Brazilian Dance Party! The Liverpudlian Transvestites! The Australian Comedy Duo! The Blisters on my Feet as the escalators were out of service at Bank!)
Just time for some of the sights at the moment, as I'm off to Glasgow tomorrow for 2 days with the real job, and the boys have a lot to tell me.
Arrived on Thursday night to London's deluge. Rain over Royal Victoria Docks.

Next morning I met the swans and then wandered Canning Town. The Poetry Festival was at St. John's, Waterloo. Some setting. Notice the poets' lectern!

On Saturday the sun shone and the docks were spectacular.

I read again on the Saturday night.

Sunday: the aftermath. Why, Mickey, Why?
