Jen Hadfield read at the Robert Burns Centre in Dumfries tonight and, obviously, she is an exceptional poet. She read from "Nigh-No-Place" beautifully and with heart, and her honesty during the reading and possibly even more so during the question-and-answer session was moving.
From the brief time I was in the same room as her I feel safe in saying she is a very nice, and genuine, person.
So see her read if you can, I'd recommend it.
