Wigtown must wait

Whilst still praying, somewhat wildly, for a quiet day, I spent yesterday evening at the new-ish venue of DG1 watching an Abba tribute concert with four friends who dressed for the occasion (use your imagination) and two seven year old girls, daughters of two of the previous. I did not particularly like Abba when they were releasing songs. I do not own an Abba album or a copy of Mamma Mia! Yet I still spent the whole two and a half hours of the show on my feet, dancing and singing the words. It must be middle-age.

Now, due to the day's general noisiness and the fact that my brain is rapidly ceasing to process any new information, I spent the afternoon after school doing arty stuff with the boys. The incredible Artsparker (fabulous blog, here: http://artsparktheatre.blogspot.com/ ) posted an illustration challenge a while back, and we took it up. The challenge was to complete the following picture; Here are our results;

by Mummy who can't draw

by Twin 1 who can

by Twin 2 who wasn't happy with his first so we cut and stuck a bit

Thank you, Artsparker. We had a lot of fun.

Latest news.
My brother has been making incredible progress, is out of ITU and into a general ward and it's looking like discharge will be very soon. Which has left me a bit stunned with a lot of organising to do, but I feel like my heart can beat properly again. Thank you to everyone who wished him well, because it now looks like he will get well.
