I have to acknowledge a few moments of happiness associated with nostalgia when traveling on the train sitting in a passenger car while thrilling to the sound of the steam whistle and listening to the clanging bell as we traveled throughout the grounds of the Boothbay Village Railway on a real train ride. I grew up in a railroad town in the era of steam locomotives , and a day out with Thomas touched many a memory: I an so happy that my grandchildren also could experience such an occasion.
