Coo-eee! Alabama Three

Great gig shot of my jumper sleeve

As you know, I've been moaning for a while now about this being a hell-month as far as commitments are concerned (Dundee yesterday. Dundee!) but in the midst of all the madness Mr T and I found time for our first night out this year. For Alabama 3 are on tour, and no matter whether you have not slept for a week, and no matter that Grandma, who runs the McKay shop in Dumfries (for all your televisual and hi-fi needs!) will have to babysit after a day's work; when the Alabama 3 are near your town, you have to see them.

So we went to the Oran Mor in Glasgow and had the time of our lives. It's an acoustic and unpluggged tour, so just Rock Freebase (guitar), Aurora Dawn (vocals), Larry Love (vocals) and Nick Reynolds (harmonica and vocals) are appearing.

More dodgy i-phone shots

They're the best band in the world at the moment. If you want to know more, you can find them here: http://www.alabama3.co.uk/en/general_articles/about

And look. The acoustic set-ters playing Live In An Irish Pub!

And a couple more great tracks; whole band.

Larry signed my ticket at the end. And Alabama 3 always let you know where the after-gig party is going to be...
