Showcase!

Yes, due to extraordinarily bad planning and rather late notice in one case, I am aiming for catatonia tomorrow! For not only am I doing a whole day's workshop with the wonderful Hugh Bryden on making poetry pamphlets; once that is over I have precisely 15 minutes to turn myself into passingly-attractive-middle-aged-poet-woman who must then drive to Glasgow and appear at the Aye Write Festival in the Mitchell Library, here:

The event is the University of Glasgow Creative Writing Showcase.
The details from the Aye Write website:
This double bill features the best in new writing from staff and students in the University of Glasgow Creative Writing course. It culminates in the presentation of the annual Sceptre Prize to the outstanding student from 2010.

Coo! I have very little idea about who's appearing, but I will be on stage for 5 minutes of the 2 hours and there are some cracking fellow students and staff members who may be there. Dare you miss it? Starts at 7pm, finishes at 9pm.

I might meet the hare again on the way home.
