Well, having ridden TFE's Bus for so very long, it really was time I took a turn at the wheel.
Whilst a Sunday-night scriber myself, I know that many of you prefer a little time to look at the destination board on the front of the Bus, so I'm putting up the challenge(s) now. Yes, there's a choice!
The first will take ten minutes of your time, but trust me, it will be worth it. An incredible piece of work by the artist Miwa Matreyek. Watch it and then write.
The alternative challenge is also an artwork, this time by an artist currently resident in Oakland, California but who was born and grew up here in Nithsdale: Kate Phillips.
The artwork is an Essence Vessel. 'A what?' you cry (I imagine).
One of these:

They are hollow, have a cork in the back, and come with instructions.

So the challenge is a poem to put in an Essence Vessel, or about what you would put in your Essence Vessel.
There: my work here is done.

What's this? Poems arriving in the rear-view mirror!
