Art Tart!

Yay! Made it through the first demon week (three to go) and completely forgot that on Saturday I was booked in for a print workshop with the maestro Hugh Bryden. Luckily a timely text from my mate Sharon alerted me to the fact.

And we had a ball, learning to do both monotypes and monoprints. To the best of my recollection, monotypes are the one-offs, and monoprints the ones you can reproduce. Anyway, there were inks, rollers and paper to play with. Coffee and bisuits on tap.

This is one of Sharon's. She is a tad more artistic than me.

A lot of experiments went to the bin, but here are the monotypes I came home with.

And these are the monoprints I came home with.

And should you, NanU (who still needs a thing from me for the get-one-free-offer-five-free crafty challenge), desire one, or two, or more of these unique works of art instead of a woolly necklace, do let me know.
I'll understand if you're holding out for the woolly necklace. Or something else...

Little update: Blogger is locking me out of commenting again, so apologies if I don't reply straight away.
