So far it's Ireland vs Scotland vs USA. Where's the rest of Europe? Canada? Antipodes? Etc.
Anyway, in a non-competitive spirit, I was out with the children today doing very non-Christmas things - Victor's picture to be framed, new trainers to replace the ones purchased, ooh, all of three months ago.
In the gallery, all attempts at subterfuge were to no avail due to my unsilent accomplices. Hence the gallery owner insisted the poem be displayed next to a picture that actually contained the paints referred to.

Slightly more success in TK Maxx (trainers going cheap!) as the toy area was sufficient distraction for the compadres. I have to say that at the time I was placing and photographing this, the manager was rearranging the displays no more than ten feet from me. The store was unbelievably busy.

Finally, la Fox of Slow Lane Shuffle had PIS'ed, but not put, here: http://slowlaneshuffle.blogspot.com/2011/12/no-time-to-shop.html
Well, I had a copy with me, as you do, so I made my way through the throng to the perfume section, which was even more heaving. Astonishingly, the requisite perfumes were displayed next to each other. Whilst doing the deed, the two ladies rummaging next to me asked, "Shall we move? Is this a protest?" and we proceeded to have a protest conversation.

That's 3 more for Scotland, by the way.
